What We Actually Do
We work on garage doors - the panels, springs, tracks, cables, rollers, and openers that either move a door smoothly or stop it cold. Most of the houses we get called to around here went up in the 1960s and 70s, which means a lot of original hardware still in service: torsion springs sized for doors that are heavier than what gets installed new today, openers that have outlived their manufacturer, tracks bent from decades of Arizona heat swelling and shrinking the framing around them. That heat isn't incidental - this area sits in a severe heat band, and a garage that bakes all summer puts real stress on springs, lubricant, and the plastic gears inside older opener units.
We see the wear pattern that comes with it: dried-out rollers, sagging extension springs, openers that strain and then quit. We handle repair on all of that - spring replacement, cable and roller swaps, track alignment, opener repair and replacement, panel fixes. We don't do new construction framing or structural carpentry; if a door opening itself is out of square from a building issue, that's a job for someone else first, and we'll tell you that straight instead of taking the work anyway.
